have really enjoyed the experience.

I joined AAY to assist with co-ordinating our volunteers and to help
generally in the office.

As a new volunteer I didn’t know what to expect but I have been made to
feel very welcome and useful!

The AAY volunteering programme is well established and there our volunteers help in a wide variety of roles. Volunteers provide help to run support groups, provide mentoring, speak to prospective adopters, serve on adoption panels and help with a range of tasks from fundraising to general office work.

We want to ensure that our volunteers continue to feel supported and to
encourage new people to come and offer their services knowing that they
will have a rewarding experience.
