AAY has set up a new support group in Leeds for birth parents who have had children adopted at Oxford Place (in the centre of Leeds).

Are you looking for a training or meeting room for your own events, meetings or workshops?

AAY has a large training room and a smaller/cosier counselling room which are available for hire at reasonable rates.

Our training room will comfortably hold up to 30 people "theatre" style, 20 "cabaret" style or "horseshoe" style, 16 "boardroom" style.


Our counselling room will hold up to 6 people for smaller meetings and would be an ideal room for family contact and re-unions.

Your support is vital to our charity. If you would like to make a donation, you can now do this by text.

Simply text AAYD01 and a monetary amount to 70070.

This has been made possible through the Just Text Giving campaign. Further information about this service is below. Please also visit our Get Involved page, where you can find details of other ways to support AAY. 

You can donate £3, £5, £10, any amount you wish. After you have sent the text, you’ll receive a confirmation text back containing details on how to add Gift Aid, meaning AAY could benefit from an extra 25%.

Your donation will be deducted from your mobile phone credit, or added to your monthly phone bill. There are no costs to AAY, and anyone on any mobile network can use this service.

Adoptive Parents Support Group
This group offers support to adoptive parents whose children are aged 10+ years.

The meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of each month (not August):

Easy Fundraising for AAY
Shop Online and Raise Money!

Have you heard about easyfundraising yet? It’s an easy way to help raise money for After Adoption Yorkshire (AAY)! If you already shop online with retailers such as Amazon, M&S, Argos, John Lewis, Comet, Vodafone, eBay, Boden and Play.com, then we need you to sign up for free to raise money while you shop!

So how does it work?
You shop directly with the retailer as you would normally, but if you sign up to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/aay for free and use the links on the easyfundraising site to take you to the retailer, then a percentage of whatever you spend comes directly to us at no extra cost to yourself.

How much can you raise?
Spend £100 with M&S online or Amazon and you raise £2.50 for us. £100 with WH Smith puts £2.00 in our pocket and so on.  There's over 2,000 retailers on their site, and some of the donations can be as much as 15% of your purchase.
